About Us
Aaron and Amy Schauers began their journey together, when they met in Missoula Montana; circa 1996. Together embarking on a path that would lead them to some of the most challenging climbs as well as most rewarding vistas along the way. With the grandest of sites being their 3 children. Amy works for one of the top law firms in Utah and Aaron is coming up on 20 years in the Real Estate and General Construction industries as co-owner of Centurion Building Solutions.
Our hearts have been turned toward Eureka Utah as it reminds us of former beauty of the past and ability of old to become new again. As a Montana native, artist, lover of art, history, and small towns rich with personality, Aaron wanted to become a new fixture in Eureka’s townscape. The Schauers family had “to find” a meaningful place amongst the historic tribute to days gone by that is one of Utah’s great mining boom towns. We absolutely adored the old main street Eureka Bank and desired to breathe new life into it’s vacant bones.
You can now find it to be the home of Schauerhaus Studiowerx – purveyors of art, antiques, and unique home furnishings. Many of the pieces have been handmade by Aaron but we happily showcase the work of other Artists across mediums. The ancestral name Schauer means; to look or inspect and Schauerhaus means; Show House. We invite all to come enjoy our offerings and ambiance while taking in all that makes Eureka unique, special, and worthy of a new lease as one of Utah’s greatest destination cities.
